History: Born to an average family in Ayothaya, the only expectation of Arun was to continue his father's work as a fisherman. Though this way of life had been acceptable to him as a small child, Arun began to think differently as he grew older. With the constant influx of visitors, Arun learned about the Kingdom of Rune Midgard and began to entertain ideas of leaving Ayothaya and attending one of the numerous schools there.
At the age of twelve, Arun's hopes were turned into a reality by the unexpected visit of a wealthy traveling wizard named Turais Meissa. A representative of the Mage School, Turais spent his time visiting foreign places outside the Rune Midgard Kingdom in search of those who were magically gifted and did not have the opportunity of pursuing the field without aid. Arun, along with several other children on the island, were discovered to have magical talents and invited to join the school. Though his mother was originally against allowing Arun to leave the island on his own, with a stranger no less, his father saw the great opportunity in the offer and encouraged his son to leave with Turais. Arun and two other teens from Ayothaya left the island and were enrolled into the academy with Turais as their benefactor. The wizard soon left to continue his journeying, but visited once a year to see the students whom he had recruited and check on their progress.
The world of magic was absolutely fascinating to Arun. He immediately delved into the arts and worked furiously to catch up with those who had begun their attendance years before he had. As Arun worked his way through Mage School, his main focus was to become a wizard like Turais. Two years after Arun began attending the school, the elder wizard noted Arun's natural physical abilities from his days helping his father on one of his visits. Seizing the opportunity, Turias advised him to consider becoming a battle sage, a fairly uncommon option for many mages as most did not have the physical capabilities to follow the path. Though Arun wasn't keen on changing his career track, he respected Turais’s advice and began researching on the Sage Academy. He found the idea of combining physical combat with elemental infusion fascinating, but the entrance fee for the academy made him reluctant to apply. After all Turais had done for him, he hated the idea of asking the wizard for more money.
On Turais's next visit, Arun informed the elder wizard of his plans to continue on his track toward wizard-hood. To his surprise, Turais struck up a deal with the teen. If he maintained high grades in Mage School then successfully entered and graduated from the Sage Academy, Turais would pay his way. He also stated that Arun would travel with Turais as his assistant for a few years after graduating from the Sage Academy. Arun eagerly accepted the deal, more pleased with the idea of traveling with his mentor than attending the Sage Academy. With this new goal in mind, Arun changed his studies and began working his way toward becoming a battle sage and exercised his body as well as his mind.
Upon his graduation from the mage academy at the age of 17, Arun moved to Juno and spent a year studying on his own before successfully entering the Sage Academy with financial support from Turais. It was there that he came into the acquaintance of another sage by the name of Noah, soon to be Marlene. A friendly relationship soon turned into something more and Arun found himself more invested in their relationship than any other he'd experienced before.
A couple of years into their relationship, Juno fell from the sky as a movement to start up a war and Arun, having not escaped with Marlene during the event, was believed to be one of the hundreds who died during the horrible tragedy. As it turns out Arun, critically injured had managed to escape through a warp portal and left for dead in the desert by the other survivors.

Personality: Since returning to his roots, so to speak, Arun has greatly mellowed down from the high-strung sage he used to be. Though the study of monsters remains his forte and purest joy in life, he's since found other interests to life, such as simply enjoying it. He's still retained his logical mind and blank-faced stares, but he's also become much less oblivious to the workings of the general social public. He's put a lot less focus on the perfections of grades and appearances and a lot more on social behaviors, much to most anyone's surprise.
Arun's lost a lot of the spazziness he had as a age student, apparently passed on to his younger brother, Niran, and settled into the role of the worldly older brother. After having experienced the trials of life, love, near-death, and schoolwork, he's seen and experienced more than most people and now finds himself simply wanting to finish the rest of his life as is, helping his younger brother survive in a world that he himself had difficulties getting through.
Likes: Exploration, monsters, cleanliness, strictness.
Dislikes: Drudging through the past, disorder, large messes.
